OUR FELINE FAMILY
Meet Mr. Jimmy Bruckner, a 4-month old rescued by us
in Friday evening rush hour traffic in the center (lengthwise) of the
elevated section of the Bruckner Expressway, Bronx, NY. He's 5
months now & the same size as Maroo. He's frisky & feisty, loves to play
& cuddle, too.

He's now trying to fit in with (in age order,
oldest to youngest)
TIFFANY She's 3-4 years, mother to a
littler
of 6 including
Dotter. She's the greeter of humans,
strangers, children, plumbers, any human. You can almost always
find her at a window. You can almost feel her longing to go out
again. She loves attention and may curl up on your lap.
MAROO was
found orphaned and undersized here in New Rochelle but cast a
spell over Peg at the Humane Society
in order that we adopt her. Her eyes are GOLDEN! I've never seen
that before! Come sometime in June, she'll be 2. She's the
smart one that learns how to do things like open doors & work the treat
ball so treats come out and how to train us to do what she wants
.
DOTTER
always has had mommy (Tiffany) around and we believe it's caused her to
be very timid but she's (finally) starting to come out of her shell.
She has luxurious long fur that our hands can't get enough but, because
she's timid, we have to pick our moments. When she wants
affection, she'll stop her back legs & keep going with the front until
she plops down & rolls on her side arching her back. Then you may
pet her neck, head, chin or back. (Not the exposed belly!)
We also SPONSOR a cat at the New Rochelle Humane
Society. Her name is Mimi. The previous 3 cats we've
sponsored have been adopted!
